About the role:

• Provide high-quality care within your scope of practice as a Dental Therapist / Oral Health Therapist, working within the requirements of the Dental Board of Australia.
• Deliver evidence-based oral health education and interventions, using individual risk assessments and oral health promotion programs to support healthier smiles across the community.
• Collaborate with the Principal Oral Health Therapist and multidisciplinary team to support the efficient delivery of services, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and help achieve positive patient outcomes.
• Build strong relationships with patients, families, colleagues and community stakeholders through effective communication, teamwork and a commitment to maintaining high professional standards and ongoing professional development.

About you:

• Possession of a Certificate in Dental Therapy (or equivalent) and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Dental Therapist.
• Possession of a Bachelor of Oral Health (or equivalent) and registration within the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an Oral Health Therapist.
• Radiation Use Licence issued under the Radiation Safety Act 1999, with an appropriate authority is mandatory for this position.
• Bachelor of Oral Health Therapy students in their final year of study are also eligible to apply.
• New graduates will have the opportunity to apply for entry into the Early Career Dental Practitioner Program (ECDPP), this program will provide opportunities in consolidating clinical skills, rotations in specialist clinics, mentoring, peer networking, regular case discussions, communication and wellbeing workshops, and career planning for the public sector.

What we offer:

Total monthly remuneration value of up to $11,047 p.m. is comprised of:

• An hourly rate between $43.97 - $58.59 p.h.
• 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
