- This Expression of Interest (EOI) collects a variety of information that will help identify potentially suitable applicants for future temporary employment opportunites. Your new role:
As a Resident Medical Officer, you'll build your clinical expertise while providing supervised patient care, with opportunities to:
- Rotate through various clinical units, including inpatient and outpatient services.
- Assess patients, arrange investigations, diagnose conditions and develop evidence-based management plans.
- Participate in day, evening and night shifts, on-call rosters and clinical procedures.
- Work closely with Registrars, senior medical staff and multidisciplinary teams.
- Contribute to pre-admission planning, inpatient care, discharge planning and follow-up.
- Participate in education, training, research, audits and teaching junior colleagues.
About you:
You'll bring a commitment to safe, professional patient care, with:
- Appropriate medical qualifications and registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Sound clinical knowledge, assessment and procedural skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- A commitment to postgraduate medical education, training and continuous learning.
