About the role
The Retail Food Services Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Retail Food Services outlet (Subway) at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital. The role ensures the delivery of efficient, high-quality retail food services while maintaining excellent customer service standards, food safety compliance and operational performance within a busy healthcare environment.
The successful candidate will provide frontline leadership and supervision to outlet staff, fostering a positive and productive team culture while ensuring service delivery objectives are achieved. The role also plays an important part in maintaining compliance with food safety requirements, supporting staff performance and delivering a positive experience for customers, patients, visitors and staff.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Coordinate and oversee the daily operations of the Retail Food Services outlet to ensure efficient, customer-focused service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with food safety requirements, quality standards and operational procedures that support safe and effective retail food services.
- Lead, supervise and support staff while fostering a positive team culture and high standards of customer service.
- Communicate effectively with staff and stakeholders to support operational excellence and positive workplace relationships.
- Manage staff performance, workflow and day-to-day operational requirements to achieve service objectives and business outcomes.
