Data Manager, Housing and Homelessness Delivery

Your role within Housing and Homelessness Services will support the department to deliver innovative and accountable program development and management for the department’s investment in housing and homelessness services including management of outsourced service delivery and initiatives to improve long-term outcomes for Queenslanders requiring housing and homelessness assistance. You will be responsible for leading the implementation of effective governance systems and processes as well as fostering a culture of innovation, continuous improvement and integration.

What you will be doing:
- Lead a multi-disciplinary data and reporting team providing, developing and driving data and data analysis for evidence-based planning, strategy and program development of Queensland housing and homelessness programs, products and services that address evolving needs and issues.
- Provide expert advice and leadership in the delivery of funding and performance management initiatives and commissioning cycles across Sector Services, including the development of monitoring and reporting activities that meet the information requirements of the Housing and Homelessness Services leadership team and Minister.
- Support portfolio and project management and reporting across Commonwealth/State agreements, State Government strategic initiatives and proposals that achieve social and affordable housing outcomes.
- Provide exceptional leadership, build resilience and work collaboratively across multi-functional teams and data areas while managing uncertainty and change.
- Develop, implement, and maintain policy and procedural tools and systems and new business processes that support key projects across Sector Services, including the implementation of Agile project management methodology and participation in the Queensland Housing Strategy Agile Risk and Community of Practice group.
- Develop and maintain high-level relationships with stakeholders both within the department and external to the department.
- Prepare and manage high quality reports, briefings, presentations, submissions and correspondence for senior managers, the Director-General and the Minister.
