About the Role:

This role is responsible for:

  • Leading and supporting early years initiatives that strengthen inclusive pathways for young children and their families.
  • Promoting positive transitions into kindergarten and schooling, and enhance the quality of pedagogy across learning environments.

Through strong partnerships and evidence-informed practice, the successful candidate will contribute to improved learning, development, and educational outcomes for young children. 

In addition to the key responsibilities of this role, the ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline (QKLG), and the Australian Curriculum, enabling the development of a shared professional language and supporting seamless learning experiences across educational settings.

This is a highly collaborative role, requiring close partnership with the Early Childhood Education and Care sector, state schools, internal regional stakeholders, and community partners. The successful candidate will play a key role in fostering a sense of belonging, engagement, and continuity of learning for our youngest learners.

A teaching qualification with a focus on early childhood education or the early years is highly desirable.
