We are seeking an experienced Lawyer in our Litigation Unit in the Brisbane CBD office. You will be a confident and qualified Lawyer, with strong advocacy skills, negotiation skills and the ability to influence others. It will be advantageous if your experience relates to litigation and advice work in a regulatory environment and if you have experience in conducting criminal and civil court proceedings.

This position requires:
- Excellent communication skills including the ability to write clearly, succinctly and with attention to detail and the ability to influence, develop and maintain relationships, negotiate and collaborate with a range of key stakeholders on complex legal matters.
- Knowledge or ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of Environmental Law, Planning Law, Criminal Law, Statutory interpretation, Litigation procedure and legislation administered by the Department.
- An ability to effectively manage complex individual litigation files with limited supervision including applying high-level analytical, problem solving and research skills.
- A demonstrated ability to operate in a team environment and contribute to team culture.
