Lead patient flow and care coordination across Wide Bay Mental Health & Specialised Services in this key Nurse Manager role. Working from either Bundaberg or Hervey Bay Hospital, you’ll provide clinical leadership, support efficient and timely patient movement, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high-quality mental health care.This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced nurse leader to influence service delivery, improve patient outcomes and contribute to the ongoing development of mental health services across the Wide Bay region.

Your opportunity:
- The Nurse Manager is a clinical and service leader, accountable at an advanced practice level for the coordination of patient-centred clinical practice and the provision of human and material resources to meet patient requirements across Wide Bay Mental Health and Specialised Services (WBMHSS). In the absence of the Line Managers for individual services, the Nurse Manager provides leadership and direction to staff, and is responsible for the facilitation and provision of quality and cost effective services which are consistent with contemporary standards and best practice within the Facility.
- Provides indirect care as required and works in collaboration across WBMHSS teams and wider HHS departments to implement and oversee the coordination of patient flow.
- Engage in contemporaneous monitoring of patient flow and related timeframes to meet expectations around lead indicators.
Two Permanent Part Time Positions (53.2 hours p.f.)

Our offer:
You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $121,945 p.a., comprising salary rates $70.92 - $77.00 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 7) (Two Permanent Part Time Positions, 53.2 hours p.f.).
