Opportunities are available for Allied Health Assistants to join the Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy teams across Hervey Bay and Maryborough Hospitals on a casual basis. These roles provide the opportunity to support qualified allied health professionals in delivering patient-centred care across a range of clinical settings. Applicants with relevant experience, strong communication skills and an interest in working within a multidisciplinary healthcare team are encouraged to apply.

Your opportunity:

  • To provide direct clinical assistance and support, as delegated and supervised, by Allied Health Professionals to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of patient care delivery. Allied Health professions include Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech Pathology, Dietetics, Podiatry and Social Work.
  • To provide non-clinical support to Allied Health Professionals through delivery of administration, customer service and equipment management duties under the direction of the supervising health practitioner.

Our offer:
