About the role

As the Facility Services Support and Proximity Systems Administrator, you will provide accurate and professional administrative support to Facility Services at Redcliffe Hospital. This position plays a key role in managing proximity access systems, ensuring staff access requests are processed efficiently, maintaining system integrity and supporting compliance with organisational policies and procedures.

You will also contribute to a range of operational and administrative functions including access control auditing, system troubleshooting, vaccination data reporting, fleet management support, equipment procurement and reporting activities. Working closely with Facility Services stakeholders, you will help ensure efficient service delivery and support the smooth operation of essential facility management functions.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Coordinate and process proximity access requests for employees while maintaining the security and integrity of access control systems.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve system software, maintenance and access control issues, escalating matters when required to ensure uninterrupted service delivery.
  • Conduct audits, maintain accurate records and monitor compliance with established proximity access procedures and reporting requirements.
  • Provide administrative support across Facility Services, including report preparation, records management and responding to staff enquiries regarding security access processes.
  • Support operational portfolios including fleet management, patient vaccination reporting to the Australian Immunisation Register, and the procurement of non-clinical furniture and equipment.
