About the role

As a Radiographer Graduate, you will join the Department of Medical Imaging at The Prince Charles Hospital in a structured 12-month graduate program designed to support your transition into professional practice. You will deliver medical imaging services within your scope of practice, including x-ray, fluoroscopy and theatre imaging, while working as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

This role provides the opportunity to build clinical skills through supervised practice, professional development and exposure to a broad range of imaging services. You will participate in shift work, weekend and on-call rosters, contribute to quality and safety initiatives, and may rotate through Metro North Satellite Health Centres to support service delivery across multiple locations.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Deliver high-quality medical imaging services including x-ray, fluoroscopy and theatre imaging in accordance with professional standards, clinical protocols and ethical practice.
  • Provide patient-focused care by maintaining high standards of communication, professionalism, safety and quality throughout the imaging journey.
  • Develop clinical knowledge and skills through education, training, supervision and engagement in professional development activities.
  • Work collaboratively with radiographers, medical practitioners and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to support effective patient care and service delivery.
  • Contribute to teaching, clinical supervision, quality improvement initiatives and the development of clinical practices and procedures within the Medical Imaging Department.
