Senior Problem and Major Incident Manager

The purpose of the Senior Problem and Major Incident Manager role is to lead the coordination and resolution of high-impact incidents and systemic IT problems impacting mission-critical systems and infrastructure, ensuring timely restoration of services, and driving long-term improvements to ICT service stability and resilience across the organisation.

The position will be a part of the ICT Command Centre team which is part of the broader Information Communication and Technology branch of the QAS and will play a critical role in supporting key frontline ICT services and contributing to the ongoing success of the business through a variety of responsibilities as outlined below.

The following mandatory requirements, special conditions and/or other requirements apply to this role:

  • Position will be required to undertake 24/7 continuous shiftwork  (including weekends and public holidays) and occasional overtime as operationally required
