Big region, big impact, big heart! Central Queensland Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs Service supports more than 250,000 people across Rockhampton, Capricorn Coast, Gladstone, Central Highlands and Banana.
Our Adult Community Service Team works across Rockhampton and the Capricorn Coast, supporting adults through community-based mental health care in their homes and outpatient settings. The team works alongside inpatient services, primary health, community and private providers to help people access the right support and move towards recovery.
Rockhampton is the hub of the action, housing the acute adult inpatient facilities and supporting the administration of the Mental Health Act 2016. With additional services in Gladstone and Rockhampton, there's a diverse and connected team working together across Central Queensland.
About the role:
- Be the admin all-rounder. Deliver professional frontline administration while helping with finance, assets, resources, correspondence, minutes and keeping important information organised.
- Keep the systems humming. Manage appointments, new patient registrations, document filing and accurate data entry across a range of Queensland Health systems. Think HBCIS, Patient Flow, CIMHA, Microsoft Office and more!
- Keep everything on track. Assist with bookings, meeting rooms, video conferencing, calendars and other resources, making sure the right people and tools are in the right place at the right time.
- Keep the cupboards stocked. Make sure essential supplies are available when needed, including stationery and Needle Syringe Program resources, with professional and timely distribution where required.
About you:
- 💻Confident navigating computer systems and live online platforms, with strong skills across Microsoft Office and administrative systems.
- 🤝Communicate clearly, professionally and respectfully, and know how to build positive relationships with consumers, colleagues and stakeholders.
- 🧠Can juggle competing priorities, manage your time like a pro and stay flexible when things get busy. You're resilient, self-motivated and ready to tackle whatever lands on your desk.
- 🛠️Provide confidential support and advice, make sound decisions within your role and put your admin knowledge to work across HR, payroll, finance, purchasing and Needle Syringe Program requirements.
What we offer:
- An hourly rate between $50.21 - $55.84 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
