Working within the Office of the Deputy Director-General, Lands Division, you will provide finance and purchasing support across the division, including procurement, invoice processing, financial reporting and stakeholder advice.

Our Land division are the stewards for 60% of the land in Queensland and we deliver a variety of land and property services across Queensland, including land and asset valuations; state land administration and on ground management surveying services; native title claims and compensation; Indigenous land services; vegetation management; place names; and government land acquisitions. As a Finance Officer, you will contribute to effective financial management and governance by delivering timely, accurate and reliable financial services that support operational and strategic outcomes. Working within the Office of the Deputy Director-General, Lands Division, you will provide advice and support on financial management and procurement activities, process purchase orders and invoices, assist with systems support, contribute to financial reporting and work closely with stakeholders to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.

We are looking for a team player with strong attention to detail, sound judgement and the ability to manage competing priorities while providing quality customer service. Experience in financial administration, well-developed skills in financial systems and strong communication skills will support success in this role.
