Competitive salary and benefits:

We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.

  • Base salary range: $69,836 to $76,468 p.a. (Nurse Grade1, Band 1)
  • 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
  • 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
  • Shift allowances (where applicable)
  • District, environmental and laundry allowances
  • Salary packaging options to increase take-home pay

About your opportunity

The Assistant in Nursing works under the supervision and direction of the Registered Nurse, who acts in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia's decision-making framework. The key purpose of this position is to assist with the provision of safe, high quality nursing care in the inpatient setting, in accordance with established professional standards, including the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses (Inc) Standards of Practice for Mental Health Nursing in Australia and the National Standards for Mental Health Services.

Please note: This is an Identified role. Under section 25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991, there is a genuine occupational requirement for the incumbent to be Indigenous to the Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander community.
