Waterford State School is seeking a passionate and dedicated team member to join our supportive and inclusive school community. The successful applicant will demonstrate empathy, genuine care for students, and the ability to build positive, respectful and predictable relationships with students and families.

Teachers work collaboratively in teaching teams and are supported through our Teacher Learning Hub, mentoring and coaching programs, and Setting Professional Goals process. We value ongoing professional learning and encourage staff to learn from and support one another.

The successful applicant will have strong pedagogical and classroom management skills, along with a commitment to building positive relationships and delivering quality curriculum. Knowledge of Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) and trauma-informed practice is desirable but not essential.

We are seeking an educator who is collaborative, reflective and committed to professional growth, student success and contributing positively to our school community.
