Your opportunity:

  • Build the capacity of school communities to strengthen Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander participation in educational decision-making and support the priorities of the Partnership Initiative.
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with school leaders, community representatives, government agencies and relevant organisations to support effective consultation, co-design and local decision-making.
  • Provide guidance to school leaders and community groups on strategies that promote meaningful engagement, improve access to relevant information and resources, and respond to local community needs.
  • Identify and respond to issues affecting schools and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities by facilitating appropriate consultation, strengthening stakeholder relationships and supporting collaborative approaches with relevant agencies.
