What your day could look like

As a Clinical Nurse, you'll help deliver exceptional perioperative care that supports patients through some of their most important healthcare journeys. From coordinating care in complex clinical situations to guiding colleagues and strengthening quality outcomes, you'll contribute to a service that makes a meaningful difference to patients, families and the wider community.

Every day, you'll contribute by:

  • Delivering advanced, evidence-based perioperative care that promotes safe, effective and positive patient outcomes.
  • Leading and supporting colleagues through clinical guidance, mentoring and collaborative decision-making across the multidisciplinary team.
  • Coordinating patient care and clinical priorities to ensure efficient, responsive and high-quality service delivery.
  • Driving quality improvement initiatives that enhance safety, strengthen clinical standards and support continuous improvement.

Let's Talk About You

You're a confident and compassionate clinician who brings both expertise and leadership to your work. You remain calm in complex situations, make sound decisions and know how to build positive relationships with patients and colleagues alike. You'll take pride in helping others grow, improving the way care is delivered and contributing to a culture where Compassion, Integrity, Dignity, Innovation and Courage guide everyday practice. More than delivering excellent care, you'll help create an environment where patients feel supported and teams can thrive.

Here's what will help you thrive in this role:

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with relevant professional authority requirements.
  • Recent perioperative nursing experience with strong clinical capability across the surgical environment.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor and support safe, patient-centred care.

You'll stand out from the crowd if you have a relevant postgraduate qualification and/or experience contributing to quality improvement, education or service development initiatives.

Most importantly, we're looking for someone who is passionate about perioperative nursing, committed to making a difference and ready to create lasting impact for patients, colleagues and community.
