About the work unit / facility:
Medical Ward 4 is part of the Medical Services Group at Townsville University Hospital. The 36-bed ward comprises 20 acute medical beds and 16 short stay beds for short length-of-stay patients.

Competitive salary and benefits:
Generous remuneration package value up to $9849 p.m. comprising:
- Salary range: $57.76 to $61.85 p.h. (NG6-1)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Laundry and District allowances
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
About your opportunity:
Join Medical Ward 4 as a Clinical Nurse and provide advanced clinical expertise, leadership and support to deliver high-quality patient care. You'll coordinate comprehansive nursing care, support and mentor nursing staff, and contribute to clinical education, quality improvement and best-practice outcomes within the ward.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Nursing (or equivalent) and proof of registration (AHPRA)
- Appointee will be required to work all shifts in accordance with the unit roster.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
