Lead Conservation at Scale.Shape the Future of Queensland’s Iconic Landscapes.

Ready to lead conservation across some of Queensland’s most iconic protected areas? As Principal Ranger, you'll oversee operational programs across 1.58 million hectares, including Carnarvon and Currawinya National Parks. Lead fire, pest and natural resource management, visitor & cultural heritage programs, compliance, safety and asset management while guiding a team of 38 staff and building strong partnerships with First Nations peoples, communities and stakeholders.

Based in Charleville or Roma, this role offers the opportunity to drive meaningful conservation outcomes across diverse landscapes. Subsidised accommodation in Charleville for up to two years is available. If you're an experienced leader with strong operational, stakeholder and people management skills, we'd love to hear from you.
