Your new role:
As a Registered Nurse – Emergency Department, you'll deliver safe, compassionate and evidence-based person-centred care while working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve the best possible patient outcomes. You'll use your clinical judgement, assessment and decision-making skills to respond to changing priorities, coordinate care and contribute to a high-performing emergency nursing team. With opportunities to develop your emergency nursing expertise, mentor others and take on team leadership responsibilities, this is a role where your skills can grow and your impact is immediate.
About you:
You are a compassionate and resilient Registered Nurse with a passion for delivering high-quality emergency care, thriving in fast-paced environments and working collaboratively to achieve outstanding patient outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience providing safe, evidence-based and person-centred nursing care within an Emergency Department or acute clinical setting.
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking and decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritise and respond effectively in rapidly changing situations.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams while communicating effectively with patients, families and colleagues.
- Commitment to quality improvement, patient safety and the application of evidence-based practice to improve care outcomes.
- Dedicated to ongoing professional development, reflective practice and contributing positively to team culture through leadership, mentorship and support of others.

About the Emergency Department
Redland Hospital's Level 4 Emergency Department provides advanced care for adult and paediatric presentations, trauma care and short-stay services, with qualified emergency triage and referral support for Wynnum-Manly Community Health Centre “Gundu Pa”. The busy department manages approximately 56,000 presentations each year, with around 18% of patients admitted, offering Registered Nurses an exciting opportunity to build their emergency nursing expertise in a dynamic, patient-focused environment.
