Your new role:
As a Senior Radiographer Sonographer or Sonographer, you'll provide advanced medical imaging services within a busy, highly collaborative department. You'll use your clinical expertise to deliver patient-centred care while supporting the development of colleagues, students and the wider medical imaging service.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based imaging services using advanced clinical judgement.
- Provide clinical advice, supervision and education to junior staff and students.
- Contribute to clinical governance, quality improvement, research and service development.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve safe, timely and patient-centred outcomes.
About you:
You're an experienced medical imaging professional who brings strong technical expertise, sound clinical judgement and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. You'll be confident working independently while contributing positively to a multidisciplinary team.
Skills & Experience
- Demonstrated senior-level expertise in radiography and/or general sonography.
- Strong clinical decision-making, communication and workload management skills.
- Experience supervising, mentoring and supporting less experienced practitioners and students.
- Proven ability to contribute to service improvement and evidence-based clinical practice.

Logan Hospital:
Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.
We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.
Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
