Your opportunity:
- Contribute to the efficient and effective operation and environment of the site by providing a high level of cleaning support.
- Ensure that the duties prescribed for the position are completed to an acceptable standard as determined by their supervisor, in accordance with the approved school cleaning program.
Responsibilities:
- Cleaning: Clean and sanitise school buildings, toilets, sick bays, furniture, floors, windows and outdoor areas.
- Maintenance: Maintain cleaning equipment, manage cobwebs/mildew and remove graffiti, rubbish and litter.
- Security: Lock/unlock buildings and operate school security systems.
- Safety & reporting: Report security, safety, damage and maintenance concerns.
- Communication: Liaise with the Principal/Business Manager regarding cleaning supplies and refer visitors appropriately.
- Other duties: Complete additional cleaning and related duties as directed.
- Professional standards: Support a safe, inclusive workplace and demonstrate accountability, teamwork and good governance.
