We are excited to welcome an AI Engineer Advanced to the Digital Health and Technology Portfolio as part of the newly created AI Innovation Hub. 

The new AI Innovation Hub will have two (2) positions within the AI Innovation Hub and we encourage applications from candidates with the required skill sets from the following streams:

The AI Engineer Advanced will provide technical design and build leadership over internally developed Sunshine Coast Health AI innovations.  This role will be accountable for building across the front-end and back-end of software and AI toolsets, using common development frameworks and third-party libraries to deliver secure, quality outcomes for Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service Health.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Lead and provide AI development and related technical specialist support services ensuring compliance with the organisation's Information Management and Information Communication and Technology (ICT) policies, standards, guidelines and procedures in particular configuration, change and release management practices.
  • Design and develop high quality AI application products, components and services that meet and fulfil approved specifications and business requirements.
  • Provide operational support and maintenance services to AI developed solutions, collaborating with other stakeholders as necessary to continually improve solutions and resolve issues and incidents.

Remuneration value up to $176 711 p.a., comprising salary between $144 315 - $154 879 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO7).
