The key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Manage the RMO Recruitment Campaign for West Moreton Hospital and Health Service.
  • Coordinate and implement recruitment processes for all Medical Officers in consultation with key stakeholders.
  • Well-developed communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to liaise with internal clients including Executive Director Medical Services, Director Medical Services, Heads of Departments; and external clients including Department of Immigration, Medical Board of Queensland and Recruitment Agencies.

What we're looking for

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:

  • Knowledge (or ability to rapidly acquire knowledge) of legislation, procedures, policies and regulations pertaining to the recruitment of resident medical officers, including medical registration and immigration.
  • Highly developed organisational skills with a demonstrated ability to work autonomously, set priorities and achieve results in an environment of high volumes and tight deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms, prepare complex written material, negotiate, consult, and utilise interpersonal management skills.
  • Ability to use advanced computer skills including the ability to access data from information technology software systems, interpret and advise.
  • Ability to solve problems and an ability to liaise and effectively consult with senior management on issues.
