An exciting opportunity exists for a Dietitian – Senior (Diabetes) to join the Diabetes Service at Maryborough Hospital. In this role, you will provide high-level clinical dietetic services to people with diabetes, supporting the delivery of evidence-based, patient-centred care. You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, applying advanced clinical knowledge and skills to diabetes management, education and service improvement. This is an opportunity to contribute to the delivery of quality diabetes care and improved health outcomes for the Fraser Coast community.

Your opportunity:
- To deliver high level, evidence-based nutrition advice using best practice guidelines and clinical skills to diabetes patients across the continuum of care and for all age groups as part of the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service (WBHHS) multidisciplinary Diabetes Team within the Fraser Coast.
- To assist management processes and quality activities within the WBHHS and contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and professional standards, including Models of Care.
- To contribute to the advancement of Dietetics and multidisciplinary team services through the provision of clinical leadership along with education and research within the WBHHS Diabetes Team.

Our offer:
You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $78,680 p.a., comprising salary rates $64.64 - $69.56 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP4) (Permanent Part Time, 38 hours p.f.).
