Your new role:

As a Senior Speech Pathologist, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based speech pathology services within the Logan Adolescent Day Program (ADP), Child & Youth Mental Health Service. Working as part of a highly collaborative interprofessional team, you will bring advanced clinical judgement to complex presentations while contributing to clinical education, supervision, service development and quality improvement.

• Deliver comprehensive speech pathology assessment, intervention and evaluation for young people.
• Manage a complex clinical workload, including prioritisation, treatment planning and discharge planning.
• Provide high-level clinical advice and act as a clinical reference point for the Speech Pathology team.
• Work closely with young people, families, carers, multidisciplinary colleagues and external agencies.

About you:

We are looking for an experienced Speech Pathologist who brings strong clinical expertise, sound professional judgement and a genuine commitment to improving outcomes for young people. You will be confident working within a multidisciplinary mental health environment and able to balance clinical priorities with leadership, education and service improvement responsibilities.

• Demonstrated high-level speech pathology knowledge, skills and clinical expertise.
• Experience delivering complex speech pathology services within an adolescent or mental health setting.
• Strong clinical reasoning, prioritisation, workload management and discharge planning skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with young people, families and professionals.
• Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology and eligibility for practising membership with Speech Pathology Australia.
