Competitive salary and benefits:
We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.
- Salary range: $81,649 to $90,801 p.a. (AO3)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
About your opportunity:
To lead and provide effective and efficient high-level administrative support, including the development of administrative processes, and quality review of such processes, for the Townsville Information and Technology Unit.
The ideal applicant will be someone who has proven ability and can demonstrate the following:
- Demonstrated ability to provide high quality organisational, administrative support to an Information Technology team with ability to prepare complex documents, agendas, minutes and correspondence.
- Demonstrated advanced computer skills and file management utilising appropriate software.
- Demonstrated advanced interpersonal skills and proven effective communication skills, both oral and written including the ability to liaise with clients and staff at all levels, using tact and respecting clients' confidentiality and interests.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, meet deadlines and prioritise workloads whilst working autonomously, and to be flexible in a changing team work environment.
- Demonstrated ability to utilise discretion in a decision maker role in the absence of other staff of the Information Technology Team.
- Good knowledge of modern Human Resource practices, including occupational health and safety, equal employment opportunity and industrial relations.
