About the Role:
As Group Director, Specialist Services, you will provide strategic leadership across EDQ's specialist engineering, urban, built form & financial advisory functions.

You will:

  • Lead new infrastructure network planning, timely provision of specialist engineering & urban & built form advice to facilitate development applications.
  • Lead financial modelling & setting & management of infrastructure charges & delivery to realise sustainable development outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with the Group Director New Growth to ensure land use & infrastructure planning is integrated & delivery is financially sustainable & identify catalyst infrastructure priorities.
  • Work closely with the Group Director Established Growth, ensuring the timely provision of technical engineering, design & built form advice to realise customer Key Performance Indicator commitments & supporting the successful negotiation of infrastructure agreements.
  • Collaborate with Industrial Development & Housing Supply & Delivery to design & deliver priority catalyst infrastructure supported by State & Commonwealth funding.
  • Build strong partnerships with industry, local government, utilities & government agencies to enable timely & sustainable development outcomes.
  • Lead a high-performing team & drive innovative, agile & customer-focused service delivery.

About You:
You are an accomplished senior executive with experience across government, major development or infrastructure environments.

You will bring:

  • Demonstrated executive leadership & a strong track record delivering large scale complex development or infrastructure projects.
  • Proven record of fast-tracking complex development projects with high compliance, governance, & stakeholder engagement standards.
  • Strategic acumen & capability to deliver innovative solutions in a dynamic & complex policy context.
  • Highly developed stakeholder, negotiation & partnership skills across government, industry & the community.
  • Demonstrated experience of working within a project & service environment, including experience with people, process & systems design & implementation to support high-quality delivery.
  • Tertiary qualifications in civil engineering or a other related discipline
