About the Opportunity:
As Allied Health Manager - Rural Services, you will lead four multidisciplinary teams committed to delivering outstanding care across Townsville Hospital and Health Service rural communities.
This role is about more than operational management. It's about building strong teams, supporting clinicians to thrive, driving improvements in care, and helping rural communities access the services they need, when and where they need them.
You will work alongside leaders of Allied Health, Nursing and Medical teams, as well as community partners to strengthen services, embrace innovation and create lasting positive change across our rural health network.
Service delivery may require this role to work across other locations within the Townsville Hospital and Health Service.

Competitive salary and benefits:
We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.
- Salary range: $144,991 to $151,289 p.a. (HP5)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
Requirements:
- Mandatory qualifications (Allied Health) and proof of registration (if applicable).
- Possession of class C drivers' licence.
- Travel is a requirement of this position.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
- Probation period may apply.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted including NDIS Worker Screening Checks and Blue Card Checks.
