Your opportunity:

As the Principal Advisor, Queensland Virtual Academy, you will:

  • Provide strategic leadership and expert advice to support the ongoing development, implementation and future focused direction of QVA as a contemporary and high-performing digital and virtual education initiative aligned to Brighter Futures 
  • Work across corporate and state school contexts to strengthen alignment between strategic priorities, operational delivery and school delivery and improvement
  • Lead the development of high-quality briefings, submissions, reports and strategic advice for the QVA Principal, Corporate and senior departmental officers on matters relating to QVA, digital innovation in teaching and learning, and system reform across Queensland state schools
  • Identify and provide advice on emerging issues, risk identification and management, and opportunities to inform decision-making and support the continued growth of QVA to its full potential
  • Foster strong collaboration, communication and shared understanding across internal and external stakeholders to support innovation, coherence and improved student outcomes.

The Principal Advisor reports to the Principal, Queensland Virtual Academy.
