About us:

Woogaroo Creek State School is a modern Prep-Year 6 school in Augustine Heights, opened in 2023, with a strong focus on collaboration, inclusion and setting students up to “REACH” new heights.

Its Special Education Program provides dedicated support for students with diverse learning needs, within a growing school community committed to high-quality teaching, strong relationships and helping every student achieve their potential.

Your opportunity:

  • Lead and coordinate the delivery of high-quality advice and support through the Special Education Program and/or Early Childhood Development Program, supporting effective outcomes for students with disability.
  • Manage the program and provide guidance to teachers and school staff on reasonable adjustments, targeted teaching and appropriate support for students with disability.
  • Coordinate case management, intensive intervention and assessment processes for students requiring substantial or extensive adjustments, including monitoring their progress and needs.
  • Support staff to access relevant departmental and external specialist services, professional development and other supports, while contributing to school decision-making, planning and professional development.
  • Coordinate school-wide systems and data processes, including the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data, maintain partnerships with families, agencies and community groups, and manage relevant human, financial, facilities and curriculum resources.
