What your day could look like
As Director of Nursing/Facility Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring local communities can access safe, high-quality healthcare close to home. From leading service improvements to strengthening partnerships and supporting your workforce, you'll help shape a health service that delivers meaningful outcomes for patients, residents and the wider community.
Every day, you'll contribute by:
- Leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver outstanding patient, resident and community outcomes.
- Building a positive, high-performing culture that supports workforce capability and engagement.
- Driving clinical governance, quality and safety initiatives that improve service performance and care experiences.
- Identifying opportunities for innovation, sustainable resource management and service improvement.

Here's what will help you thrive in this role:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Demonstrated senior leadership experience within a complex healthcare environment.
- Strong expertise in clinical governance, quality improvement, risk management and service planning.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to lead change effectively.
You'll stand out from the crowd if you have:
- Experience in rural, community, hospital or aged care settings.
- Postgraduate qualifications, or progress towards postgraduate study, in a relevant discipline.
Most importantly, you'll be passionate about improving healthcare outcomes, supporting communities and leading with compassion, dignity, integrity, innovation and courage.
