About the role

Play a key role in supporting the Office of the Chief Allied Health Practitioner by providing high-level administrative, secretarial and coordination services within a fast-paced executive environment. This position offers variety, autonomy and the opportunity to work closely with senior leaders, supporting strategic priorities and helping ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of a busy office.

You will be responsible for a broad range of administrative functions including executive support, diary and meeting coordination, committee support, financial and human resource administration, stakeholder engagement and recruitment activities. The role suits someone who thrives in a professional environment, enjoys juggling competing priorities and takes pride in delivering exceptional support services.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Provide high-level administrative and executive support, including diary management, meeting coordination, travel arrangements and management of competing priorities.
  • Coordinate committees, meetings and events, including agenda preparation, minute taking, document management and follow-up of actions and outcomes.
  • Build and maintain productive working relationships with senior leaders, internal stakeholders and external partners through professional communication and customer service.
  • Manage administrative processes including financial and human resource documentation, recruitment administration, database management and reporting activities.
  • Demonstrate initiative, discretion and sound judgement when handling confidential information and delivering outcomes within demanding timeframes.
