About the opportunity
The Business Support Officer role provides business support to the Corporate Services Unit to maintain and improve business systems and processes. Assist in the provision of cost-effective business focused operational and strategic resource management advice and support to the Corporate Services Unit under the guidance of the Senior Manager Financial Services.
PLEASE NOTE - This is a Temporary full-time role, up to 30/06/2027, with a possibility of an additional 12 months extension.

The ideal applicant will be someone who has proven ability and can demonstrate the following:
- Demonstrated knowledge of and the ability to interpret and apply financial legislation, policy, and procedures.
- Demonstrated knowledge of, or the ability to quickly acquire knowledge of Queensland Health Business Information Systems programs, to extract, report and analyse data and information.
- Highly developed interpersonal, communication and consultative skills, including participative decision making and negotiation to achieve positive outcomes and solutions.
- Demonstrated time management, analytical and leadership skills, particularly the ability to prioritise, negotiate, problem solve, work in a team and act innovatively and independently.
Role requirements
- Experience and knowledge of policies and practices for finance, revenue and human resources would be well regarded but is not mandatory.

We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.
- Salary range: $3693.60-$4069.10 p.f. (AO4)
- 4 weeks annual leave with 17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
