Competitive salary and benefits:

We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.

  • Salary range: $140,632 to $152,685 p.a. (NG7)
  • 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
  • 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
  • Uinform SOA / Laundry allowance
  • Rural and Remote Locality allowance
  • Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available

About your opportunity:

Join Ayr Community Mental Health Service as a Clinical Nurse Consultant and provide expert mental health nursing care and clinical leadership within a multidisciplinary team. You'll deliver high-level assessment and intervention, coordinate care for consumers with complex needs, and provide clinical support to the team. You'll also work with the Rural and Remote executive team to develop and expand therapeutic programs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Nursing (or equivalent) and proof of registration (AHPRA)
  • Relevant postgraduate and/or tertiary qualification in mental health nursing is highly desirable
  • Eligibility for appointmnet as an Authorised Mental Health Practitioner (AMHP) under the Mental Health Act 2016 is highly desirable 
  • Current Class C driver's licence
  • Staff may be required to work in other areas of the Mental Health Service Group.
  • This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
  • Probation period may apply.
  • Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
