The Office of Industrial Relations is looking for an experienced and confident Team Leader, Tribunal Services to lead a team providing administrative support to the Medical Assessment Tribunal within Queensland's workers' compensation scheme. This is an opportunity for a strong people leader who can develop individuals, build culture, drive outcomes, bring fresh perspective and support teams through change.
We're looking for someone who is comfortable making decisions, having constructive conversations and contributing new ideas to do things better. You'll bring energy, accountability and a genuine commitment to creating a positive, high-performing team environment.

As Team Leader, you will:
- Lead, coach and support a small team, creating a culture of accountability, collaboration and high performance.
- Provide clear direction, manage performance and build the capability of team members.
- Lead the team through organisational and structural change, providing stability, clarity and support.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, quality and customer outcomes, and lead projects
- Ensure administrative services are delivered consistently, professionally and in accordance with relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
- Provide sound analysis, advice and information to the Manager, Tribunal Services and Workers' Compensation Regulatory Services leadership team.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and communicate with influence.
- Promote a positive workplace culture where people feel supported, accountable and empowered to contribute.
- Lead by example, demonstrating integrity, resilience and the confidence to constructively challenge when required.

Experience in workers' compensation, tribunals, courts, regulatory environments or similar complex service environments will be highly regarded. Experience leading projects or business improvement initiatives will also be valued.
Most importantly, we're looking for someone who can step into leadership, build trust and help shape the future direction of the team.
