A key focus will be leading the reading improvement agenda across both settings, strengthening curriculum implementation and supporting high-quality teaching across all year levels.

Your opportunity:

Located in Augustine Heights in the Ipswich region, around 30 km south-west of Brisbane CBD, Woogaroo Creek State School is entering an important new phase.

In this permanent leadership opportunity, you will lead curriculum development, teaching excellence and student achievement, build staff capability and strengthen evidence-informed teaching and learning.

Working closely with the Principal, Heads of Primary and Special School campuses and the school community, you will lead:

• Curriculum planning, moderation, professional learning, data analysis and instructional coaching.
• Staff capability to implement differentiated learning and evidence-informed teaching practices.
• Curriculum implementation and improvement aligned with school priorities.
• Effective management of departmental resources.
• Positive relationships with students, staff, families and community partners.
