What you'll do
As the Manager, Sunshine Coast DPT, you will lead the delivery of high-quality ICT services by ensuring consistent application of eHealth Queensland IT service management processes, maintaining knowledge of the ICT Service Catalogue, and overseeing the effective management of ICT assets within the Digital Partnership Team. You will drive a culture of continuous service improvement by implementing best practice frameworks, policies and processes, standardising work practices, and ensuring services meet or exceed defined enterprise service levels. The role is responsible for developing and implementing strategies, policies and procedures that support the provision of ICT services aligned to customer and organisational needs, while fostering productive relationships with Hospital and Health Service executives, clinicians, business managers and other key stakeholders. You will manage the Digital Partnership Team's operational and capital budget, oversee workforce planning and resource allocation within approved establishment levels, and provide high-level strategic advice to the Senior Director regarding workforce capability, capacity and service delivery requirements to support the achievement of organisational objectives.
About you
We are searching for someone who has:
- Motivation to work consistently with Department of Health values.
- High level management and leadership skills in an information and communication technology (ICT) environment for a large, complex service delivery organisation.
- Ability to develop and implement plans, strategies, policies and procedures for the provision of ICT services that meet customer needs.
- High level experience in managing the delivery of ICT services and support.
- High level interpersonal, communication, negotiations and consultations skills.
- Financial management and stewardship of IT assets and resources used in the Provision of IT Services.
