As Executive Director, Regional Services, you will lead a statewide network delivering high-quality legal assistance to disadvantaged Queenslanders, ensuring services are connected, consistent and responsive to the needs of local communities.

This is a role for a strategic and influential legal leader who can bring people together, strengthen regional partnerships, guide high-performing teams and drive service excellence across diverse locations. You will play a central role in leading regional operations, influencing organisational direction, fostering innovation, managing performance and resources, and ensuring Legal Aid Queensland continues to deliver client-centred services that make a real difference.

About you

You are a highly experienced legal executive with strong strategic judgement, outstanding leadership capability and a deep understanding of regional service delivery.

You will bring:

  • substantial experience as a legal professional operating within a senior management environment
  • strong knowledge of the challenges and opportunities of working across diverse regional settings
  • exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, influence and deliver through others
  • a strategic mindset, with a focus on service improvement, innovation and organisational performance
  • highly developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • a strong commitment to client-centred service delivery and access to justice
