We're excited to welcome Radiation Therapists to our HP Radiation Oncology team.

This position is to provide routine radiation therapy services within a diverse team of radiation therapists with various skills and abilities to oncology patients whilst working as a member of a team in the following clinical areas: Radiation Therapy Treatment and Radiation Treatment Planning.
Deliver Radiation Therapy clinical services as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team, to stakeholders/customers of Queensland Health, in accordance with the goals, policies and requirements of the Sunshine Coast Hospital Health (SCH).
Key Responsibilities include:
- Provide routine services in a radiation therapy treatment or planning unit/s.
- Apply clinical knowledge and skills to routine decision making under clinical practice supervision, commensurate with experience.
- Adhere to working practices and standards that provide for safely delivered radiation therapy treatment, including; safe operation of equipment to avoid electrical, mechanical or radiation hazard to patients, staff and others.
- Maintaining a sound understanding of all external legislative and internal policies and procedures that impact in the relevant clinical service area.
Remuneration based pro rata on equivalent full time value up to $132 567 p.a., comprising salary between $3067.00 - $4453.50 p.f. (f/t) or salary rates: $40.35 - $58.59 p.h. (p/t), employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP3) (Fixed Term Temporary full time, 76 hrs p.f.&/or part time positions for up to 12 months).
