Your role within Housing and Homelessness Services will support the department to provide home purchase assistance and debt management services directly to customers and property management services that support Frontline Services staff. The work you will do helps someone every day, and that means the world to us. Frontline Services, Housing and Homelessness Services provides a range of services, products and referrals to offer housing solutions for diverse customer groups.
You will contribute to the development, implementation and evaluation of operational basset management strategies.
What you will be doing:
• Provide well researched, expert advice and information to internal and external stakeholders on property management, with a particular focus on social housing.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to manage risk appropriately, particularly in relation to legislative requirements.
• Contribute to the development of policy and procedures relating to best practice concepts and products in the development and implementation of portfolio management programs.
• Identify risks and working with team members to facilitate creative and innovative mitigation strategies in a service delivery environment.
• Compile well researched timely advice, briefings, reports and submissions including ministerial and departmental correspondence on major operational issues while also providing timely and accurate advice to customers.
• Analyse and interpret data from the department's corporate systems, identifying errors, implementing corrective solutions and preparing analysis on findings.
• Coordinate the provision of administrative support that assists with the development and maintenance of property asset data systems and processes.
• Lead and ensure you establish and maintain a workplace safety culture by ensuring that all policies and practices concerning Workplace Health and Safety are applied and a part of day to day operations
