Your opportunity:

Alexandra Hills TAFE Senior College is a unique partnership between the Queensland Department of Education and TAFE Queensland, with Queensland Pathways State College as the base school.

The College provides an alternative senior secondary setting for approximately 200 Year 11 and 12 students, combining school-based learning with access to vocational education, training and industry-connected pathway opportunities.

From 2027, the College is introducing a new pathway-focused program built around four distinct areas — Trades, Health, Education and Maritime — with a stronger emphasis on connecting students' learning to future education, training and employment.

This is an exciting opportunity to establish and lead a new work experience and industry placement program at Alexandra Hills TAFE Senior College as part of the College's 2027 program.

The Industry Liaison Coordinator will be responsible for building the program from the ground up, developing strong partnerships with employers, industry and community organisations to create high-quality, relevant workplace learning opportunities for students.

The role will have a particular focus on supporting students across four distinct pathways — Trades, Health, Education and Maritime — and ensuring work experience and industry placement opportunities are aligned with student interests, pathway goals and future education, training and employment.
