Your new role:

Make a meaningful difference in the lives of people with complex mental health needs as a Clinical Nurse with the Adult Community Continuing Care Team North. You will provide advanced specialist nursing care, clinical leadership and care coordination within a collaborative community mental health environment, with a focus on:

• Providing comprehensive, safe and compassionate person-centred mental health nursing care.
• Leading clinical assessment, care planning and management of complex patient needs.
• Applying advanced clinical judgement, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Supporting and coordinating the healthcare team, including delegation, mentoring and clinical leadership.
• Contributing to education, quality improvement, research and evidence-based practice.

About you:

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Registered Nurse who is committed to delivering high-quality mental health care and supporting positive patient outcomes, with:

• Advanced mental health nursing knowledge, skills and clinical experience.
• Strong assessment, care planning, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to work autonomously and provide effective clinical leadership.
• Strong communication, collaboration and relationship-building skills.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development, education and quality improvement.
• A relevant tertiary nursing qualification and current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA).
