And we're not stopping there. With a new Cardiac Catheterisation Lab adding to our capabilities, the future of cardiac services at Rockhampton is looking exciting.

  • Think beyond the hospital. Alongside your clinical caseload, there are opportunities to contribute to outreach services across Central Queensland and represent the Cardiac Investigations Unit through committees and specialist portfolios.

About you:

  • You have a relevant science or applied science degree, with strong anatomy and physiology foundations, plus experience or professional development in cardiac diagnostics. Upcoming graduates are welcome to apply.
  • You have strong technical skills and can confidently deliver complex investigations across areas such as Echo, Cath Lab, Pacing or Electrophysiology.
  • You're passionate about teaching, research and quality improvement, with the leadership skills to support and develop others.
