About the role

The Radiographer delivers high-quality medical imaging services as a member of the multidisciplinary Medical Imaging team at The Prince Charles Hospital. The role supports a broad range of clinical services and may also provide imaging services across Bribie Island, Kallangur and Caboolture Satellite Hospitals, contributing to safe, effective and patient-centred diagnostic care.

The successful candidate will perform approved imaging examinations, apply independent clinical judgement, and deliver professional, timely and compassionate care to patients. The role also supports after-hours imaging services, participates in quality improvement initiatives, assists with student supervision and training, and contributes to the ongoing development of medical imaging practices and protocols.

  • Perform routine and increasingly complex imaging examinations using sound clinical judgement and technical expertise.

  • Support the education, supervision and assessment of students and less experienced radiographers.
  • Contribute to quality assurance, service improvement initiatives and the development of imaging procedures and protocols.
