Your new role:
As a Principal Allied Health Project Officer (Community Nutritionist), you will lead the development, implementation and evaluation of service-wide initiatives that improve physical health outcomes through community nutrition. Working across Metro South Addiction and Mental Health Services, you will build strategic partnerships, lead research and service redesign, engage consumers and stakeholders, and translate evidence into innovative, sustainable models of care.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead complex community nutrition projects, service planning and redesign initiatives.
- Build strategic partnerships across health, government, community and primary care sectors.
- Lead research, quality improvement and evaluation to strengthen nutrition outcomes.
- Engage consumers and stakeholders in co-designing accessible, culturally safe nutrition initiatives.
About you:
You are an experienced nutrition or allied health professional with strong strategic, project management and stakeholder engagement capabilities. You can translate evidence into practical service improvements and confidently lead change across complex healthcare environments.
Skills & Experience
- Advanced knowledge of evidence-based nutrition and contemporary service delivery models.
- Highly developed project management, organisation and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead change, service redesign and quality improvement initiatives.
- Strong written communication, research and strategic advisory capabilities.
