Housing Officer (Frontline Services)

What you will be doing:
Conduct home visits to properties, investigate and manage the maintenance of properties and conduct inspections. Additionally facilitate the resolution of any tenancy disputes and complaints.
Assess the condition of social housing properties and advise on kitchen, bathroom upgrades, social housing maintenance programs, and repairs to properties.
Work collaboratively to respond to customers, undertake customer interviews, make referrals, assess new housing and bond loan applications and rental grants.
Manage tenancy arrangements, allocations and vacancies, liaising with the community and other housing providers and ensure departmental compliance.
Monitor and manage outstanding arrears, rent assessments, pay deductions and refunds.
