Your key responsibilities:
- Manage and prioritise workflow allocations in Content Manager (CM) for the branch, ensuring timely responses that meet deadlines.
- Provide high level quality assurance of all information prepared by the branch, supporting teams by reviewing materials and providing feedback and recommendations regarding correct templates. Critically review draft responses to ensure stakeholder needs are met.
- Using an awareness of branch priorities and business functions, assess and prioritise incoming requests and general correspondence, including requests for advice and information, meeting papers and reports, and other requests, effectively triaging, prioritising, and actioning to the relevant accountable area for necessary action.
- Maintain effective workflow processes and monitoring systems in order to ensure appropriate advice and responses are prepared for the Executive Director's consideration within the necessary timeframes.
Role fit
The essential requirements for this role are:
- Proven ability and experience in effectively managing and prioritising the correspondence and administrative functions and associated activities for a busy branch, including the ability to initiate, determine and follow-up work priorities within mandated and tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated high level interpersonal and written communication skills which reflect the ability to liaise effectively, diplomatically and discretely with all elements, at all levels of Queensland Health, other government and non-government agencies, community organisations and members of the public.
- Proven effective consultative, communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills appropriate to an environment of change and evolution.
- Proven ability to utilise a high degree of initiative, decision making skills and reliability in operating independently with minimal guidance and direction.
