We are seeking an inspiring, collaborative and values-driven Deputy Principal to support the Principal in leading our school community and delivering exceptional outcomes for every student. This is an exciting opportunity for an accomplished educational leader to make a meaningful contribution to a thriving school community and help shape a positive, future-focused learning environment. The position is being offered in a temporary full-time capacity until 11 December 2026, unless otherwise determined.

Nirimba State Primary School is located in the suburb of Nirimba and is part of the Caloundra electorate of the Sunshine Coast and provides a high-quality educational service to students and families of Nirimba and surrounding suburbs.

Opening in January 2022, Nirimba State Primary School caters for all students in Prep to Year 6. The school's vision is focused on providing students who attend Nirimba State Primary School with a great education that is enriched with a variety of curricula and extra curricula opportunities.

About the Role

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Educational Leadership and Strategic Direction: Support the Principal in developing and implementing a shared, future-focused educational vision that delivers high-quality learning outcomes for every student, and deputise for the Principal when required.
• Ethical and Inclusive Leadership: Demonstrate values-based, ethical leadership and embed socially just, inclusive and equitable practices across all aspects of school life.
• High Expectations and Professional Growth: Promote high standards of student and staff performance while fostering a culture of lifelong learning, professional development and continuous improvement.
• Partnerships and Community Engagement: Develop strong and purposeful partnerships with students, parents, government agencies, community organisations, industry and business to strengthen student outcomes and school improvement.
• Governance, Policy and Resource Management: Apply relevant legislation and policies, contribute to effective school governance, and strategically manage resources to achieve school priorities and goals.
