This is a unique opportunity to lead and improve the way Mental Health, Addictions, Custodial Health and Statewide Services (MHACHSS) responds to consumer feedback and complaints. You'll play a key role in turning patient feedback into real service improvements, helping ensure concerns are addressed quickly, fairly and with a person-centred approach.

Working across a diverse range of services, you'll coordinate complaint management activities, support high-quality responses to consumer concerns and work closely with the Consumer Liaison Office to achieve positive outcomes for patients, consumers and families.

About the role

This position will be an integral part of the Mental Health, Addictions, Custodial Health and Statewide Services (MHACHSS) service support team providing dedicated oversight and coordination of patient feedback, complaints and consumer experience activities. The role will provide a consistent, high-quality approach to complaints management across MHACHSS, ensuring matters are managed in a timely, person-centred and responsive manner.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:

  • Demonstrated advanced capability in stakeholder consultation and engagement, employing highly developed oral communications and highly effective interpersonal skills of consultation, negotiation, conflict resolution and relationship management that influence effectively and achieve desired outcomes.
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing a high level of expertise to deliver safe, least restrictive, recovery orientated and person-centred care to consumers within complex care environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Demonstrated ability to be accountable for outcomes and the achievement of performance targets relevant to the position.
